ZhangJin/장진
장진 작가는 중국 청두에 거주하고 있다. 2004년 중국 과학기술대학에서 재료화학 학사 및 석사 학위를, 2007년 뉴욕 대학교 공과대학에서 화학 박사 학위를 받았다. 현재는 중국 사천음악학원 실험예술학부제 재직 중이다. 그의 작업은 설치, 사진, 비디오 등을 포함하는데 중국 국내외에서 다양한 미술관과 갤러리에서 전시했다. 호주의 화이트 래빗 갤러리, 럭셔레이크스 A4 미술관, 세이도우스 사진 예술 센터 등이 작품 소장하였고 그의 작품 'Another Season'은 2012년 제4회 세이도우스 사진상에 선정되었다. 그는 2013년 에스티 로더와 협력하여 작품을 제작하였으며; 2015년에는 밀라노 세계박람회에서 중국관 특별전에 참여하였다. 2012년부터 2016년까지 현대 커뮤니케이션 그룹과 여러 차례 협력하였고, 그의 작품은 "티베트의 백년"에 소장되었다. 2019년 프로 헬베티아에서 주최하는 창작 레지던스 프로그램에 초대되었고 또한 많은 공공 예술 전시를 기획하며 2019년에는 럭셔힐스 미술관에서 "Looking for Homeland" 참여형 프로젝트를 기획했다. 2021년에는 상하이 도시계획 및 자원국에서 주최하는 상하이 도시공간 예술 시즌(SUSAS)의 큐레이션 작업에 참여하였고 2022년에는 럭셔레이크스 A4 미술관에서 커뮤니티 큐레이터 과정에서 참여자들에게 큐레이팅 방법론을 가르쳤다.
JinZhang resides in Chengdu. He received BS & MS in Materials Chemistry at University of Science and Technology of China in 2004, and PHD of Chemistry at Polytechnic Institute of New York University in 2007. He is currently teaching at the Sichuan Conservatory of Music, School of Experimental Arts. Jin’s practice involves Installation, Photography, and Video. Jin’s work has been exhibited internationally in many Art Centre and Galleries, and collected by White Rabbit Gallery in Australia, Luxelakes A4 Art Museum, Three Shadows Photography Art Center, etc. His work of Another Season was selected as the 4th Three Shadows Photography Award in 2012. In commercial art, he was invited to work with Estee Lauder and customized works for it in 2013; he was invited to participate in the special creation of the China National Pavilion at the Milan World Expo in 2015; From 2012 to 2016, he cooperated with Hyundai Communication Group many times, and his works were collected in "A Hundred Years of Tibet"; he was invited by Pro Helvetia for resident creation in 2019. Beyond of being an artist, Jin has also curated many public art exhibitions, in 2019 he curated the participatory project "Looking for Homeland" at Luxehills Art Museum, in 2021 he was invited by Shanghai Municipal Bureau of Planning and Natural Resources to participate in the curatorial work of Shanghai Urban Space Art Season (SUSAS), and in 2022 he was invited by Luxelakes A4 Art Museum to teach the course of community curator.

ART WORK EXPLANATION/작품설명
우리의 일상이 점점 더 평범해지는 것은 부인할 수 없는 사실이다. 그래서 사람들은 여가 시간을 보내기위해 여행을 가거나 오락을 즐긴다. 이것이 바로 소비 사회의 일상적인 구조이다. 방문객이나 관광객들은 베르자스카 계곡을 찾아 수영하고, 하이킹을 하며, 캠핑을 하며, 그곳에서 정신적 혹은 신체적인 즐거움을 찾기를 기대한다. 이런 일반적인 현상을 비난할 수는 없다, 사실 나 또한 그들 중 한 명이기에. 나는 이 프로젝트를 관광객의 시각에서 시작하려고 한다, 우리는 서로에게 서로의 풍경이 되며, 서로의 인스타그램에 가끔씩 등장하는 사람이 된다. 삶의 어떤 순간은 매력적인데 나는 매일 계곡에서 기쁨을 주는 재미있는 순간을 찾으려고 노력했고, 이 사진들은 그 순간들의 컬렉션이다.
It is undeniable that our daily life is tending to be more mediocre, which is why people have to travel or entertainment to spend the leisure time and also it's the daily life structure of consumer society. Visitors or tourists come to Verzasca Vally to swim, hike, camp and expect to find spiritual or physical pleasure. I can't criticize these common phenomena, actually I am one of tourists also. I prefer to start this project from the perspective of a tourist, and we are becoming each other's landscape and becoming someone who occasionally appear on each other's Instagram. Some moment in life is fascinating. Every day I tried to look for an interesting and pleasing moment in the Vally, and these photos are the collection of moments.
